Christmas is just a couple of days left, and you may be busy preparing for Christmas celebration. However, there must be a presence of fruit cake in every X-Mas celebration. 3. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Take 22 cm cake
pan & grease it with melted butter . Line the side
& base with three layers of non stick baking
paper, extending 5 cm above edge.
4. Take a large saucepan & mix fruit mince, dried fruit,
orange juice & orange rind over medium low heat. Sirring
until fruits get soften. Set aside for at least 30 mins to cool.
Add the brandy & stir well.
5. Add sugar & butter to the fruit mixture & stir well. Add
mixed spice & combined flours into it. Add eggs and stir
well until mixed properly. With the help of a spoon, smooth
the surface. Take the almond and arrange them on the top
of the cake.
6. Bake the cake for 3.15 hours in the preheated oven. Check
whether inserted toothpick comes out clean from the cake.
If yes, then your kuchen is all ready.
7. Remove it from the oven, brush it with apricot jam. Wrap
cake in a large tea towel with foil & keep aside to cool
completely.
