Hello all! As you may or may not know, Ball State University is currently testing and
reviewing CPE products on our WiMAX network. The latest product we have tested is the
Tecom WM 5033-2G5 router. Our results are as follows.

Test Configuration
The tests for this particular CPE were conducted on the Ball State WiMAX network
comprised of 3 Cisco BWX 8305 (5 MHz) WiMAX base stations and 2 Cisco BWX 8415
(10 MHz) WiMAX base stations. The signal strength observed during the test was between
-70dB and -68dB. The Carrier to noise ratio (CNR) was around 22dB.

the test.

A 130MB file has been used in the ftp download test. An average of 5.2 Mbps was observed
during the test and it took 3 minutes and 39 seconds to download the entire file.

(compared to the download test) at 6 minutes and 15 seconds. The average speed observed
during the test was 3.9 Mbps.

To test the download speed on the internet, we have downloaded a file from Ubuntu.com.
The size of this was file was 80 Mb. The download time was 7 minutes and 29 seconds with
an average speed of 2.7 Mbps.
