Biomass is certainly one of the most important agro sources. In Brazil there is a significant movement towards biomass and sustainability, motivated by a growing number of companies to reduce the carbon footprint of its products. Since the Brazilian power matrix is much cleaner than in many other countries, attention turns naturally to the emission of thermal energy produced in boilers, hot gas generators and similar equipment. Developing a biomass sourcing strategy becomes clearly critical, and can potentially result in a competitive advantage for companies as well as CO2 reduction.f
