Heavy Duty Cantilever Style Storage Racking
Process Details: Bespoke heavy duty cantilever style storage racks for a UK based stockist / supplier of building
products and materials.
Scope of Work: To design, manufacture, deliver and install the required racks in accordance with the clients
proposed multi-level storage scheme i.e. nine individual storage racks, each rack being approximately 1.5m wide
x 3.2m high with multi-level cantilever style arms set at approximately 1.2m long.
Design Considerations: -
• All racks designed to meet the end users specific requirements i.e. mast height, rack width, length of
cantilever style arms, number of levels etc. all tailored to suit the products and materials requiring storage.
• Single or double sided racking options available.
• Specific safe working load (1.5 tonnes per level) tested and verified (Certification provided).
• Robust construction utilising substantial hollow steel sections and / or parallel flanged channel.
• All structures suitably reinforced.
• All welds to BS EN 22553.
• All welds inspected in accordance with BS EN 970:1997 to an acceptance standard in accordance with BS
EN ISO 5817:2003, Quality Level D.
• All steelwork in mill quality steel, completely free from rust, and all de-greased, primed, undercoated etc.
• A choice of finished colours to match, contrast and coordinate with the end users corporate colour scheme.
