  1. Hi. I’m Chris Pegler from the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University, formerly Academic Director of SCORE – the Support Centre for Open Resources in Education and member of OLnet (the Open Learning network). I’ve been involved in quite a few reuse and open content initiatives , some funded by JISC, some by the OU. The hat that Amber has asked me to wear today is that of academic practitioner sharing my experiences of using open content in teaching. What strikes me is that its about all developing a habit, or rather a set of habits around reuse. I have borrowed from Stephen Covey for the title of this course since 7 fits nicely with the format of 15 slides.
  2. I’m borrowing the titles of Covey’s habits, and some of the thinking behind them, rather than the detail. That – it seems to me – is the key to enjoying reuse. So …proactivity. Is +We can get
