PROJECTS
First Campus Vacation — Fundraised up to $8,500 in-kind
and monetary donations.
From March 2015 to September 2015 I headed the campaign to fundraise
for the first summer vacation of 10 foster children in the all girls
Residential Treatment Center in Levelland, Texas. The vacation was
fully funded and provided 10 children and 5 supportive staff to attend
Sea World and Fiesta Texas theme parks and Stay at the El Tropicano
Hotel, San Antonio, Texas.
Hope is in the Air — Special event at Skyviews of Texas Tech
Fundraiser raised $800
From September 2015 to October 2015 I coordinated the special event
with Skyviews of Texas Tech where Children’s Hope would receive $5.00
per plate for designated Chef’s menu of the serving week. The
restaurant is affiliated with Texas Tech University Restaurant Hotel
Institutional Management degree program and is a student ran
restaurant. Over 5o supporters dined throughout the week in support
and monetary donations were given to the restaurant in Children’s Hope
name.
Christmas— Fundraised up to $40,000 in-kind and monetary
donations
From October 2015 to December 2015 I coordinated the Christmas
parties, events and donations for all three campuses for 108 children.
3. maintaining personal and previous contacts and one campus totaling
$26,000 in in-kind and monetary donations for the benefit 40 children
in Lubbock.
Volunteer Impact — Coordinated Volunteer work between
the community and the children in the Residential Treatment
Center
I connected Children’s Hope with the Volunteer Center of Lubbock. My
professional responsibility was to track the volunteer hours of the
children and staff with the Residential Treatment Center and the public
volunteers who came to the requested volunteer events. The Children of
the Residential Treatment Center volunteered monthly at Paul’s Project
to serve dinner to the homeless community,and Frequently with the
Meals on Wheels in Lubbock, Texas. Community Volunteer opportunities
ranged from a weekly Yoga class to benefit the children in Lubbock and
Levelland, throw holiday parties, Christmas gift wrapping party, and
Child Mentoring.
