Backpacking requires carrying all
you need for survival on your back.
This can be excessive for a short
side hike in the afternoon. Leaving
the tent poles and camp shoes
behind is fine, but taking off into the
wilderness with nothing but the
clothes on your back is ill advised.

Self-awareness means knowing
yourself and your strengths and
weaknesses, learning

a role in identifying the best course
for you.
