2. The younger generation have some
expectations on work, e.g. shorter working
hours, latest model for hardware, they always
feel that they deserved the best and not
working to try new things, sticking to what has
been mentioned during their interview

narrow scope of what to do, kind of decided on what I want
to do

lifestyle change due to the nature of
work. I had to work shifts. I was mentally

be taught. Check on attitude towards

Think there should be a mentor to hand-hold “students”
when they first join the work force
Think the students expectations are usually too high and
impractical

Eric is an engineer who is detailed towards his work and follows his principals closely. He
values teamwork, integrity and personal excellence. He is often being tasks to mentor new
staff in his company.
