Dubai: Gateway between the

Travel Tips: Packing Edition
Dubai tour in 2015
Meet our new Intern!
Tours for 2014
Dubai is beyond a doubt, one of the most
rapidly emerging tourism destinations of the
21st century. So we are going to take a closer
look into what makes this such a popular spot.
It is one of seven Emirates that comprise the
United Arab Emirates.
The location of Dubai - situated at an
intersection of Asia, Europe and Africa -
position it perfectly for the blending of rich
eastern customs with western comforts.
‘Unique’ is the only way to define Dubai’s
combination of rolling sand dunes and tall sky
scrapers, Arabian adventure and luxury
shopping malls, as well as, old-world souks and
five star hotels. The largest Emirate of the
DUBAI: GATEWAY
BETWEEN THE EAST
AND THE WEST
United Arab Emirates really earns its repute of
the “gateway between the east and the
west.”
Recently confirmed by the Internationale
Tourismus-Börse Berlin, the world’s largest
tourism convention, as one of the world’s
“must-visit destinations,” Dubai obviously has
much to offer. Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest
building at over a half mile high, finds its home
in downtown Dubai. It is surrounded by hotels,
luxury shopping destinations, an in-door ski
resort and a host of entertainment options.
The sheer volume of tourist attractions, along
with rich culture and world class shopping,
certainly makes Dubai a must see destination.
For those of you who have been our clients for a while,
you will notice a big change to our newsletter format.
I wish to thank our intern, Chelsea, for all her hard work
in redesigning the newsletter and for serving as the
newsletter editor this year. Great job Chelsea!
At the beginning of each new year, we conduct a
travel preference survey. We heard loud and clear
that you want us to continue to offer exciting travel
opportunities to Europe. You have also encouraged us
to plan tours to new parts of the world. In this
newsletter we talk about a new opportunity
on the horizon.
