We’re creative but practical, entrepreneurial but thorough, sometimes lateral but always down to earth. And because we’re independent, you’ll get clear, honest advice, focused on what’s best for your business and your retail interiors.
Whatever the project, we pair inspired thinking with informed logic to transform commercial environments. It’s just the way we do things – or, to put it another way, it’s our resolution.

Resolution Interiors
A brief introduction
We’re creative but practical, entrepreneurial
but thorough, sometimes lateral but always
down to earth. And because we’re
independent, you’ll get clear, honest advice
focused on what’s best for your business
and your retail interiors.
So what does this mean for you? It could be
a fresh take on your retail interiors bringing
a big idea to life, or squeezing every drop of
value from your shop fitting company
budget. Or it could be the quiet confidence
that comes with having a shop fitting
company that you know will look after every
little detail – and deliver on wow factor.

Create

.........
It all starts here. Occasionally it comes out of the
blue. But usually inspiration takes time, teamwork
and lots of tea. Once we have the big idea, our
design services team will develop a series of
proposals – including mood boards and sketches,
3D renders and material samples – so you know
exactly what to expect.

We know that the pieces don’t miraculously fall
into place (if only it was that simple) so our

experienced project managers see your project
through to completion – from briefing to interior fit
out to manufacturing and maintenance. Your
project couldn’t be in safer hands.

How do you define success? Is it speed, cost
efficiency, awards, or something entirely unique to
you? We’ve made our name through high quality
craftsmanship and never allowing standards to
slip. At the final self-auditing (or ‘snagging’) phase
we tie up all the loose ends – sometimes literally. REALISE FULFIL
Even after the dust has settled (and been
carefully vacuumed away) we’ll stay in touch to
help you acclimatise to your surroundings,

evaluate success and see where we can add
more value.

Client: Pret A Manger // Brand Refresh
Subject: Central London branches
The Challenge
Pret had been through a process of steadily
evolving their original store design over many
years, they have continued to grow aggressively
across the Capital, and other large cities across
the UK. Having worked with Pret for several
years, we helped to design their merchandising
& display units often with multi-functional usage.
They recognised, however, that the evolutionary
changes had now reached saturation point, and
it was time to review the complete in-store
environment to better express the unique
positioning of the Pret brand, and enrich the
customer experience.
The Thinking
In this instance, preparation was key to the
success of the build phase. It was critical to have
a detailed programme that covered all aspects of
the tasks involved, and to have a disciplined
process for the operation of the site. The works
required a multi-skilled trade team to work in
very close proximity, within a shortened working.
The Resolution
The first store, in Albermarle Street, W1 was
completed in just 6 days, with no disruption to
day time trading. We went on to complete a roll
out programme, including several busy London
stores.

Client: Musgrave Group
Project: National UK & IRL
The Challenge
We have been working with the Musgraves
group in the UK and Ireland for over 5 years,
across all of their priority brands. As their lead in-
store environment design-build partner we
conduct the majority of all key refurbishment & fit
out projects. The scope of our works include
concept development design support particularly
across new ventures such as coffee shops & in-
house bakerys, full planning and technical
design, build works, fixture and unitary supply
and installation.
As a long-term partner, our challenge is to share
the ambitions and objectives set for Budgens
and Londis, in developing the in-store
environment to meet with the business needs
and initiatives. These take into account
corporate responsibilities to advance their
sustainability & energy efficiency status, while
also achieving new revenue avenues such as
joint ventures with Subway and the Post Office
to new initiatives such as in-store coffee shops.
8
10. A Resolution Interiors Case Study
The Thinking
A fundamental part of our on-going works with
Musgraves also includes delivering an on-going
programme of new and refurbished Budgens &
Londis forecourts.
This programme has also seen us develop
bespoke concession areas for key producers
and suppliers such as Cuisine de France. For
them we designed branded hot and cold food to
go dispensers which formed part of a dedicated
food to go area within the wider store.
We have also designed independent coffee
shops to sit within the layout of the Budgens
supermarket. The brief for Chalfont St Peters
was to keep as close to the existing Budgen’s
brand look and feel as possible, whilst bringing a
familiar coffee shop look. The site at Chalfont St
Peter’s is one of the largest Budgens stores
within the portfolio and we delivered a complete
refurbishment to a very high standard.
The Resolution
Musgraves represent a huge number of
individual owners and small retail groups, so
striking the right balance between bespoke
finishes and retaining the overall brand look and
feel is critical to the success of every project.
Our efforts in this area have been recognised by
the Convenience Retail Awards 2012, where we
scooped a prize and also receiving a high
commendation for Symonds’ Wells forecourt
store.

Project: Häagen-Dazs Café Concept"
Location: Bluewater"
The Challenge!
We teamed up with the well-known famous ice
cream brand Häagan Dazs on delivering their
new café concept into Bluewater. The company
has been creating ice cream flavours since 1961
and today has many stores and franchises
across the world. For this particular brief they
were looking for us to take their brand concept
and tailor it to this unique space, whilst ensuring
that it also complemented the wider Bluewater
environment. "
!
!
The Thinking!
Within just three weeks we implemented a
completely new package. This involved a
complete rip out, installing new ceiling features,
lighting, signage, flooring and shop front.
Alongside the painting, tiling and wallpaper
decorations, we also fitted unitary and modified
all alarms and sprinklers."
!
!
The Resolution!
We completed a three week programme from
instruction to completion of the Blue Water
Häagan Dazs store."

Client: Virgin Media Concept Store
Project: Westfield, West London
The Challenge
Our challenge was to realise the brand new
concept –‘Our House’ store for Virgin Media, at
the Westfield Shopping Centre in West London.
Using the latest in digital technology the flagship
store has been designed to provide a fun and
immersive brand experience at every touch
point.
The Thinking
To create the complete House structure, we
were able to source and create complete re-
decorations such as bespoke digitally printed
wall paper, fabrics, cushions and rugs that
formed an essential element of the overall
design. The electrics were re-routed to
accommodate entirely new fixture’s and fittings
and to showcase specially designed floor lighting
representing broadband connections, as well as
a bespoke try before you buy merchandising
system and interactive wall. The bar represented
a highly complex design feature given its
elliptical shape and curved inverted base, but we
were able to manufacture these bespoke items
without compromising any of the design integrity.
The Resolution
Designed by Allen International and built by
Resolution Interiors. We conducted the build
programme in just six weeks, including complete
rip out, installation of all fixtures, fittings (also
supplied by us) and electrics and HVAC together
with all build elements.

Client: Nike
Project: Boxpark, Shoreditch
Challenging spaces & environments
As lead contractor, we were most excited to be
involved with this ground breaking project,
delivering the Nike retail and experiential units at
Boxpark, London.
We overcame the specific challenges of the
environment – in a shipping crate – and
continued excellent liaisons with the Boxpark
development team.
March also saw us completing the refurbishment
of Nike Westfield Whitecity.
Design Integrity
Working to Nike s design intent, and integrating
with the visual merchandising team we
continued to provide smart solutions in readiness
for the final installations, and in view of future
proofing
this innovative space.
We developed a highly comprehensive technical
drawing package including GA, mechanical &
electrical, lighting design, fire protection, RCP,
floor plan, builders works and elevations.

Client: Tenovus New Design
Project: New Store Design Concept
The Challenge
To establish a model store concept to be rolled
out across Tenovus’ fast growing retail estate,
ensuring that the design would achieve
maximum return on investment to ensure
maximum return to those in need by creating the
ultimate charity retail model.
The Thinking
We wanted to create an in-store environment
that would express the enormous warmth of the
brand. Identifying key themes to inform the
design, such as heritage & local spirit, local
fundraising events, up cycling, and connection
through sharing personal stories formed the
backbone of the concept. For us these formed
the reasons to believe why, ‘second hand is not
second best’.
A bold geometric pattern, and a vibrant colour
palette was used to induce a feeling of positive
well-being while also representing the brand
colours. The pattern would also add visual
impact, leading customers into and through the
store.
The Resolution
"This contemporary looking shop proves that
second-hand really isn't second best when it
comes to shopping as the store is brim full of
quality labels at affordable prices in a fabulous
looking environment.”
Andrew Hufford, Director of Income Generation
at Tenovus
