this congregation of the United Methodist Church, we

asset after our congregation

future building needs by building our endowment,
while also utilizing and encouraging our gifts of lay

 MISSION POSSIBLE:® Nonprofit Solutions, Ltd.
was selected. Constance Clark, President, began
providing early campaign readiness and capital and
endowment campaign planning support last year.
 We have not held a large, formal capital and
endowment campaign since our rotunda was
completed in 1983.

• To reach a $750,000 investment portfolio

15. Our Campaign Endowment Goal is to preserve the assets of First
United Methodist Church of Norwalk.
This continuous flow of stable contributions towards operating
expenses during times of weak financial markets and high or low
inflation will assure the Church’s long term health.
We would like to achieve a $750,000 Endowment portfolio over the
3-Year Campaign pledge period. We need to raise an additional
$440,000 through trusts, funded endowment and planned gifts to do
this.
At current distribution rates, this will provide a range of $22,500 to
$37,500 of investment income per year. This will greatly help address
our needs and prolong our Church’s mission indefinitely.
