IMPLICATIONS
Declined Productivity: Burnout
means physical and mental
exhaustion. Hence, it will lead to
stress and lack of motivation to
learn new skills.
Unhealthy Society: Increase in physical and
mental health issues like depression, high
BP, diabetes etc. will lead to an unhealthy
society with fatal ailments at a very young
age and decreased life span. Demand for
doctors and specialists in fields of
psychology & mental health will increase.
Risk of Suicide: People will not have a
comfortable life, which aided by
anxiety and stress will lead to severe
mental health issues. This, in turn can
cause people to commit suicide.
Hinder Growth & Evolution: Reduced
motivation and overwhelming stress will
lead to lack of thereby hindenring the
pace of growth and evolution of the
society. Thus, society will not grow
socially or economically.
Rise of Gig Economy: Burnout
will instigate more people to
leave conventional 9 to 6 jobs
and work as freelancers leading
to rise of gig economy.
Rise of Individualism: Stress and anxiety
will lead to people becoming more
irritated and secluded, leading to rise of
self centeredness rendering society to
become individualistic. The familial bonds
will not be as strong as they are today.
