The Centrist Democratic Party of the Philippines (CDP): Partido ng Tunay na Demokrasya is the first political party in the Philippines which is ideology based grounded on core value on Human Dignity espousing the principles of Democracy and Rule of Law, Subsidiarity, Social Market Economy and Political Party Institutionalization. In being an institution of a real political party it in turn is: 1. ideology-based;2. membership based where members pay dues to the party; 3. have internal democracy; and 4. operates the whole time within the structure of its Constitution and by-laws and propagates its political platforms in government.
