You’ve heard the term floating around, but what does it actually mean? Web 2.0 sites allow users to interact with each other by creating and sharing user generated content.There are many ways that Web 2.0 can be integrated into the classroom and encourage student engagement. In this workshop you will be introduced to two Web 2.0 sites: Wordle, a and Animoto, and see how they can be used separately or together in the classroom to enhance engagement and learning. In addition to introducing you to the tools, I will show you examples of how I have incorporated the min to my online and traditional courses. By the end of this workshop participants will have created a word cloud using Wordle, and produced a video using Animoto.
