am an American, who has been working in Shanghai as an English teacher for the last three years at EF. I

graduated from the XX University with a major in English focusing on 19th Century British Literature.


         I enjoy teaching young children from the age of 10-15 because they are so energetic, fun and

enthusiastic. When I have my classes with them I feel very happy and joyful. I believe that my students

have improved their listening and speaking skills with me as their teacher.

        My name is Erica Lee. I would like to apply for the position of English teacher at Long Island

American School. I am an American from Los Angeles. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of

Education. For the past four years, I’ve been working for Giraffle American Training School.


        At the Giraffle American Training School, I taught English to children between the ages of 3 to

15.The kids I taught are fun to work with and they’re full of energy and life. With my training and

experience, I believe I can bring this energy and fun to the kids at your school too.


        If you’re interested in hiring me, please let me know as soon as possible. I am available to do an

interview and demo class during the weekdays.

My name is Emily Wong, I would like to apply for the position of Full-time English Teacher.


I am from England and I have worked as an English teacher for 5 years. As a teacher at EF, my classes

consist of 5 to 10 students between the age of 5 to 15, I teach(help) my students to improve(build up)

their speaking, listening and reading skills so that they can become fluent in English. I taught my students

to read faster than they did before. Although I like my students, I wish to move on and try to teach in a

different school.


I am self-motivated, energetic and organized teacher. When I’m with my students, I am sensitive to their

needs and I can adjust my teaching style accordingly.
