5. Erecting Steel Roof Trusses This is usually done with the help of a hydraulic lift or crane. Laborers secure the trusses in place after they are lifted onto the structure.
6. Corrugated Roof Decking Delivery These are the sheets of corrugated steal that were to delivered to be used as decking on the roof of The Gorrie Center. Below: A lull forklift unloads the corrugated metal decking to be used on the roof
7. Installation of corrugated roof decking Labors fasten the decking to the trusses according to the methods listed in The General Notes.
8. Underside of steel roof decking This is the topside of the decking once it has been fastened and nailing strips are being put in place to support a 1 ½ nail-able deck for felt and shingles.
9. Here laborers complete the roofing process by nailing asphalt shingles with the appropriate overlap as stated by code over the # 30 felt used to cover the plywood decking. They must work around any MEP components that penetrate. Precautions have to be taken so there is not any water leakage
