Dept.) – 25 staff  Planned digital data collection pilot with community members and Transportation staff Coming Up:  Pilot digital data collection: community facilitations & sense-making  New engagement phases with BBP, Transit Plan, Comp. Plan  Equitable & Green Infrastructure engagement November Engagement Coordination: Staff from 12 departments, Durham County, and GoTriangle learned about Language Access

Build Community Infrastructure for ECE Relationships, Training, Resources Accomplished:  Chose 3 new Community Partners (CP):  GRAB – Youth basketball league at Oxford Manor and nearby DHA  Sembrando Raices (w/ DPS Foundation) - Community garden with Latinx families  West End Legacy Project – Monthly events, support groups, hotline  CP Development Course with NCCU:  Completed objectives for all 12 classes  Clean NMG Audit  Received Welcoming America grant ($40K) Coming Up:  CP: Complete contracts, first payments, onboard  Promote and begin NCCU non-credit certificate course CP RFP Process ($90,000 to award): • 64 Interest Form sign-ups • 13 Proposals received • 12 Proposals eligible • 6 groups interviewed • 3 groups chosen

DHA Redevelopment 8. ? Goal: Focus Community Engagement efforts (e.g. consulting, assistance) on most impactful decisions. • Plan ahead with departments • Increase coordination / collaboration / data-sharing • Develop tools and trainings to assist (e.g. Blueprint Update)

Increase Understanding of ECE (Share the Why & Lead the Way) Accomplished:  Organized 2 Our Community Stories: Emorywood Estates and Durham College  Organized 3.5 day training with 11 Army 91st Civil Affairs staff  Consulted with Arlington County staff Coming Up:  Our Community Stories:  Lincoln Hospital School of Nursing (10/29)  Youth Activism (Office on Youth takeover, 11/19)  Continue archiving work via website updates (DurhamCommunityEngagement.org) Provided "Mission Essential" community engagement training and experience before deployment to 5 African countries.
