2. Are group decided to have are title as
calibre. We wanted as a group to have
a name that wouldn’t be complicated
and has relevance to the genre of our
film. Calibre had a few hits on our
research were small independent film
companies used it as their title. This
was interesting as we wanted
something that would fit the action
genre and all the films that included
calibre in their title were of action
films. But we were aloud to use
“Calibre.” as our title name as the
films we researched did not have the
word as a individual title. For example
their was one film called calibre .45.
3. We followed many typical action scenes from the genre,
such as entering the film with a scene were there is already
conflict happening in the first two minutes of the film. This
was a way reassuring that are film will have the feel of an
action film and give the audience what they expect to see in
a action film.
4. We used match on action for our scenes which is
another technique for action films to ensure
fighting and shooting scenes look more realistic
and more immersive for the audience. We
developed are shots with the help of action genre
research to give the audience the right feel for this
type of film. We developed are films storyline
purposefully for this product to get the audience
straight into a high energy action thrill. This is what
a lot of real media products do in order to attract
their target audience.
