between different entities, individuals and countries around the world. All are connected to each
other.

globalization of about 1 percentage point
lifts economic growth by 1.48%, in

4. Globalization has an impact on the country's economic growth, but the development of globalization is not certain to
increase economic growth. This following is a statement that shows the impact of globalization and has a positive effect on
economic growth
Free Trade
International Market
Multinational
Company In Indonesia
Tourism
FDI
The presence of this international market can be utilized by a company whose sales of goods and
services have exceeded the needs of consumers in the domestic area so that these companies
can enter the international market and seek consumers in a wider market share
Companies originating from abroad can freely enter a country so that products can freely enter the
domestic market such as; McDonald's, KFC, Nike
Globalization can be an arena between countries to promote tourism in a country, increasing the
number of tourists who come both domestic tourists and foreign tourists
FDI support foreign companies generate higher value, which in turn will have an impact on the
added value for domestic companies
5. Globalization also has a negative impact on the economy
Stalled Local Industry Growth
The rapid flow of globalization in the economic sector has caused dependence on multinational
companies, this has resulted in the local industrial sector not being able to develop properly. The industry
brought in by multinational companies has led to a consumptive culture for local consumers, which can
kill local business units. For example, modern shopping centers controlled by foreigners has caused
shopping centers managed by locals to slowly die.
Social Gap Rising
Free competition in the international market causes industrial developed countries to grow and hinders
industrial economic growth in developing countries. This results in local markets in developing countries
being dominated by foreign industries, thus impacting local industries which will eventually die.
Capitalism
Capitalism itself is an economic system that is controlled by private owners with the aim of seeking
profits and a market economy, this capitalism occurs when the private sector controls the trade, industry
and production sectors. In this capitalist economic system, the beneficiaries are the shareholders,
because share prices and dividends will continue to increase and employees/laborers cannot enjoy it
