Dallas, TX 75207 Join the Dallas fun to celebrate the beauty and spirit
Noon - 6 p.m. of the wide open spaces along the Trinity River in the
heart of this thriving City. Everyone is invited to bring
their family and friends to fly a kite, watch the
spectacular show kites and enjoy other wind driven
toys or crafts. Paddle a kayak, make paper airplanes,
applaud Steve Martin and his fabulous exotic
birds, and round out the day at
the Dallas Wind Symphony concert.

You are invited to be part of this sensational new event that will bring thousands
of people to the Trinity River. For a century, City leaders and citizens have
wanted to use the land along the river for recreational events and with these tough
economic times, let’s bring on the free fun and adventure! This event truly
showcases one of the most unique resources in Dallas!
Program Highlights
All events and activities are FREE including parking Demonstrations: UTA Ultimate Frisbee, Hang
Show kite teams from the Southwest Gliding, Paper airplane making
REI and Kayak Power - Paddle Adventure on Food vendors, kite vendors (purchase required)
Trammel Crow Pond, tent displays Dallas Wind Symphony performance at 5:15 p.m.
Blackland Prairie Raptor Center will showcase their Participants bring their own kites, pinwheels,
gorgeous rehabilitated raptors - see them up close whistles, hand thrown glider planes, scarves, and
Hot Air Balloons on display other wind driven toys or crafts to fly
Steve Martin, world renowned animal behaviorist Dallas City Council and major sponsors to appear
