variety of backgrounds
and areas of Sheffield,
and have varied life
experiences.

• All young advisors hold
the national Young
Advisor qualification
• This is an accredited
award gained through
training from the national
young advisor charity

5. What we do?
• We help organisations ‘youth proof’ their
services, policies and strategies
• We speak out for young people, making sure
their thoughts and feelings are considered in
decisions that affect them
• We help organisations understand how to attract
and maintain the interests of young people
• We actively engage directly with other young
people to get them involved in improving their
services in the city
