ABOUT OUR CLASSES
We require all participants to wear flat, closed-
toe shoes. Loose, comfortable clothing is
recommended. You may even want to bring a
pen to take notes! We provide aprons, knives
and equipment.
Demonstration Classes
Demonstration/Lecture classes last
approximately 1 - 1 ½ hours unless noted
otherwise. A total of 24-30 students are seated
with lots of opportunity for questions and
answers. Small tasting portions will be
distributed throughout each class. We strongly
advise all participants to eat before class and
bring their own beverage of choice, as only
water will be served.
Hands-on Classes
Hands-on classes last about 2 – 2 ½ hours and
are limited to 10-24 students unless noted
otherwise. Classes are combination of chef-
demonstration and hands-on cooking in teams
of (4). All dishes created are served at the END
of class. While a “meal-sized” portion is served,
we strongly advise all participants to eat a light
meal beforehand to avoid getting hungry.
Kids Classes
For kids (2-5 years), we request ONE
parent/guardian volunteer to join us in the
room. The parent does not have to register; we
only request a reservation for your child. We
cannot accommodate more than one
parent/guardian chaperone due to space
limitations. For drop-off classes for (older

Parent and Kids Class: 44 Things
Parents Should Know About
Healthy Cooking for Kids!
6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Celebrity
Book Signing and Demonstration
Class $35
Instructor and Author: Chef Rock Harper,
the season 3 winner of FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen
and the National Celebrity Chef for the
March of Dimes. Author of "44 Things
Parents Should Know About Healthy
Cooking for Kids."
With three kids of his own, Chef Rock
certainly “walks the walk” when it comes
to teaching kids how to eat right and
appreciate real food. Chef Rock will be
guiding kids and parents through three
recipes that make for a day’s worth of
healthy, delicious eating. On the Menu:
Breakfast -Deliciously healthy pancakes.
Chef Rock transforms this breakfast
favorite into a superfood, helping kids get
great nutrition while expanding their
palates. Rock’s recipe blends flaxseed and
whole wheat flours and integrates
blueberries, lemon, thyme, vanilla, and an
alternative sweetener, topping it all off
with 100% pure maple syrup.
Lunch, “Lunchables” done right. Kids love
these compartmented, mini-sized meals,
but they’re chock full of preservatives and
unhealthy fats. Chef Rock takes a
nutritious twist on the concept, inspiring
kids and their parents with healthy,
creative, fun ideas for a homemade
‘Lunchable’ done right.
Dinner - Robust homemade tomato
sauce, tossed with prepared ravioli. By
relying on prepared, whole grain ravioli,
more attention can be placed on Chef
Rock’s easy and versatile sauce that will
inject bold flavors and nutrition-packed
ingredients into this classic combination.

The chocolate chip cookie was accidentally
developed by Ruth Graves Wakefield in

making chocolate cookies and on running
out of regular bakers chocolate,
substituted broken pieces of semi sweet
chocolate from Nestle thinking that it
would melt and mix into the batter.
It clearly did not and the chocolate
chip cookie was born. Wakefield sold
the recipe to Nestlé in exchange for a
lifetime supply of chocolate chips.
Every bag of Nestlé chocolate chips
sold in North American has a variation
(butter vs. margarine is now a stated
option) of her original recipe printed
on the back.
Come, bake and have fun making 25
different kinds of Chocolate Chip
Cookies. Includes Gift Box and Bow!
