2. I asked 10 people what they thought of my idea so far and what I could do to improve it. They were each given a questionnaire I had written. The questionnaire had 5 questions about my TV drama ‘The Street’. Below is the result of the first question. The feedback I got helped me decide what should be included and what shouldn’t in my TV drama.
3. What could be done to improve ‘The Street’? The people who said the idea was very good or good didn’t know what could be done to improve it. The other 70% said that the show could be improved by including more characters and more themes to make the show a little more interesting to watch. They also said it would be better if the show didn’t just focus on one street, but many streets. This way the title could stay the same, but there would be a street rivalry. This would make it more interesting.
4. The person that said the characters and themes weren’t very good wanted to see more teenagers because there weren’t any. But most of the others asked said they don’t mind the characters and the themes.
5. Only 10% thought that there should be eight characters included in the TV drama. The others felt that this was too much and it would become too difficult to keep track of each character and their problems. 50% agreed that there should be four characters just like I intended.
6. The percentage of each theme was almost the same. 30% said the themes Religion and Romance should be included, while 20% said Homosexuality and Gender Roles, which are two very similar themes to each other.
