TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
• Fully killed steel resistant to strain ageing
• Tight tolerances
• Consistent roundness
• Consistent wall thickness
• Consistent straightness
• Eddy current and Pressure tested (At 70 bar for minimum 5 seconds)
• Working pressure: 25 bar.
• Inside weld bead is removed for grooved pipes (1” and above)
• Where the bead is present the height of the internal bead is ≤1.5mm or 60% max of the nominal wall
thickness, whichever is smaller.
Galvanising is done according to EN 10240.
• B.2 quality: Minimum external coating thickness is 40 microns with an average of 50 micron typical
coating thickness
• B.1 quality: Minimum external coating thickness is 55 microns with an average of 70 micron typical
coating thickness
• Galvanised pipes are passivated after galvanising process. Therefore no white rust form on surface.
CERTIFICATION
All pipes are supplied with Mill Test Certificates according to EN 10204/3.1
