● “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social
well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”

● Well-being a subjective psychological state of how a person
is functioning (The World Health Organization, 2014)

occupational species' nature” (Wilcock, 1998, p. 123)

● Occupational deprivation, alienation and/or imbalance all
effect health and wellbeing (Wilcock, 1998)

organized around recognizable activities from which whole
