Adam Garone is the co-founder and CEO of Movember, a men's health movement that challenges men to grow mustaches during November to raise awareness for men's health issues like prostate cancer. In his presentations, Garone utilizes humor and personal stories to engage audiences and discuss how he founded Movember. While he is not the most animated speaker, his passion for the cause is evident. Garone keeps his stories and message simple while entertaining audiences with his humor and relatability.

1. Adam Garone
Adam Garone is
co-founder and
CEO of the mens
health movement
“Movember”.
Which challenges
men to start the
Adam Garone
month of
November clean
shaven and grow a
moustache for 30
days.
2. He speaks on how
he founded his
movement
“Movember” and
also on the
importance of
prostate cancer and
awareness
3. Adam’s most
successful tool
that he utilized in
order to engage
the
audience, in my
opinion, was his
use
of humor and his
ability to entertain
the audience with
laughter.
7. COMMANDMENT IV
This is the commandment that Adam
utilizes for most of the speech,
throughout the speech he recites stories
from the founding of “Movember,” all
the way to how it came to be the
movement that it is today.
8. DYNAMISM
4/5 isnt the most
He
energetic or
animated of
speech givers
that Ive ever
seen, but he
remains
entertaining and
interesting
throughout and
his passion
regarding his
cause is evident.
9. DYNAMISM
4/5 little more
A
energy would
have improved
his speech
overall and
helped his
dynamism rating.
11. Adam’s Story is indeed a long one, but
he manages to tell the audience only the
essential events, keeping it simple and
in turn keeping the audience engaged.
This is a Garr Reynolds tip that I believe
Adam executes well.
12. Adam delivers
his speech in
a very
humorous and
relatable
fashion, he
also kept
moving and
utilized the
space on his
stage.
13. Adam walked
and moved
around much
more than Sir
Ken Robinson
did in his
speeches, Ada
m also utilizes
stories much
more than Mr.
Robinson
aswell.
14. They both utilized
humor very
successfully in each
of their respective
presentations and
although Sir Ken
Robinson’s
presentation was
much less “story
heavy” than Adam
Garone’s, he still
used stories to
enhance his own
15. TIP:
Keep calm and just be
yourself, I think, is the biggest
tip that I can give, its hard to
do when the lights are on, but
if you can do it and remain
personable to your
audience, you will give a
great presentation.
