General Information
Adobe Flash will be pushed to store users. It will be deployed and managed by KACE. Here is
a summary of the steps taken to accomplish this goal:
Overall Steps:
• Entitle Adobe Flash to the KACE QA test group and test the installation process.
• Verify installation is successful.
• Verify it is working from a user’s point of view.
• Un-entitle the Adobe Flash from the KACE QA test group to verify it stops deploying.
PC Requirements:
All test machines must have KACE installed. The computer objects below will be placed into
the KACE QA Test label group.
• MASTER-55555
• TERM1-55555
• TERM2-55555
• TERM3-55555
• All testing will be performed in the QA environment.
• All testing will be performed using the current user account.

4. TEST CASES
Scenario: Test store 55555 has a master and 3 terminals which need Adobe Flash. We will
also need to uninstall it.
Case #1: MASTER-55555. This machine is running Windows 7 and does not have the
correct version of Adobe Flash.
Script:
1. Verify that Adobe Flash hasn’t been run.
2. KACE Administrator assigns Adobe Flash to the test store group.
3. In KACE, Perform a Run Now to force the update to the machine.
Script Successful if: MASTER-55555 applies the update. Verify the settings by
checking Programs and Features and launching the application.
Case #2: TERM1-55555. This machine is running Windows 7 and does not have the correct
version of Adobe Flash.
Script:
1. Verify that Adobe Flash hasn’t been run.
2. KACE Administrator assigns Adobe Flash to the test store group.
3. In KACE, Perform a Run Now to force the update to the machine.
Script Successful if: TERM1-55555 applies the update. Verify the settings by checking
Programs and Features and launching the application.
Case #3: TERM2-55555. This machine is running Windows 7 and does not have the correct
version of Adobe Flash.
