Environmental Corps (E-Corps) is an exciting and energetic American YouthWorks program which allows youth, ages 17 to 25, to contribute to the restoration and preservation of parks and public lands in Texas.

• E-Corps has provided quality conservation services for 15 years and
has graduated more than 1000 members from our program.

– Graduate – Local crews, which are also capable of
traveling and serving on residential “Spikes.” These
service
crews are comprised of Americorps members from
around the nation who have graduated from High
School, College, or have obtained their GED
– Trails Across Texas – A residential crew contracted to
travel and complete trail construction and maintenance
projects for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
– Summer Youth Crews– Crews primarily made up of
students from American YouthWorks’ Charter High
School and are currently working towards obtaining
their GED’s or diplomas.

– MACC & SCC – Similar to our Local Crews, MACC &
SCC are comprised of graduates from around the
nation. These positions are a result of partnerships
formed with The Mountain Alliance of Conservation
Corps and Southwest Conservation Corps.
Furthermore, these Crews operate under a National
Directe Americorps grant and have the ability to
perform service outside the state of Texas.
