2. Robert Capa
A famous photographer whose work is based in
World War 2 and shows some of the most iconic
battles in world war 2. He works in black and
white due to those being the only cameras
available at the time and took pictures of
American soldier through ww2 as it progressed
3. The Flag
The flag is one of Roberts’s most famous pieces he’s done. I would
categorize this in war. It is being taken to show the Americans taking control
of the war and fighting back and give hope that they are slowly winning the
war. The focus range is the hill they are on the soldiers and of course the
flag itself as it is the most important part of this photograph. The whole
frame itself shows soldiers with a flag working together to put their flag on
the hill they are wearing their uniform a helmet, small bags and boots they
are standing on a hill with what looks like broken branches all around them.
The lighting is all natural and based upon the sun hitting the soldiers and
flag.
4. Carry on walking
Another Robert Capa photograph from world war 2 showing a bunch of us troops
walking to their next location. I would categorize this in war. It is being taken to show
the U.S troops going to their next location meanwhile you can see a bunch of friendly
blimps flying idle behind them all. The soldiers are in focus as are the blimps but the
background is in focus it is out a bit as it is not as noticeable as the soldiers walking
and blimps lazily flying. In the frame are soldiers heavily armored and with quite a few
weapons on them walking in one direction and some look depressed which is to be
expected in the war. There are a few trucks in the background by a sign. There are two
blimps flying around one very close and a second quite far away. The light is all natural
and relied upon the suns light shining down on the soldiers walking.
5. Charlie Waite's
Charlie Waite’s is more of a natural
photographer who takes pictures of forests
woods and takes pictures or anything natural
from tees to the ocean and rivers and a simple
field.
6. The woods
The woods is a photograph taken by Charlie Waite’s the image is just a road
going straight and a bunch of trees following it. The main focus is the trees
and road upfront as you can see everything from the roots of the tree to the
patterns of the trees bark and the blades of grass but as the photograph
goes on the image gets less detailed and less focused. The main image itself
is shown to look more like a tunnel as it goes on. Everything in frame is
natural the trees and the grass and has nothing but nature no people or
animals. The light is natural it is the sun behind the clouds giving the photo
a depressing look.
7. Tree in the light
The main focus in this photograph is the tree in the middle of this field
the rest of the picture is less noticeable as they are covered in shade but
in the background is a mountain and at the front is a field. It has been
taken to show the locations beauty as it has a miserable field and
nothing out of the ordinary and then there’s an amazing tree with the
sunlight making it stand out and the main focus of this picture. The only
light in this picture is the sun hitting the tree through the clouds above it.
