To mark British Universities Week we're holding a series
of sports seminars on Campus. Everyone is welcome to
join in. We look forward to seeing you.

Monday 30 April Frisbee golf. An Dr Val Gladwell, School of
1-2pm opportunity to discover Biological Sciences on
this sport as summer ‘Five things to make you a
term starts. successful athlete’.
Tuesday 1 May Wheelchair basketball. Professor Todd Landman,
1-2pm Demonstration and Institute for Democracy and
chance to try. Conflict Resolution on
‘Olympic Dream Maps’.
Wednesday 2 May Boxing with Gordon Dr Matthew Taylor and
1-2pm Charlesworth from the Professor Chris Cooper, School
University’s Amateur of Biological Sciences on
Boxing Club. Have a go! ‘What makes Bolt run so Fast?’
Thursday 3 May Aspiring Olympic Dr Pete Fussey, Department
1-2pm race-walker Dom King in of Sociology, reports on
action. Try it for yourself. security and the Olympics.
Friday 4 May Paralympian javelin Jess Kenny from the
1-2pm thrower Scott Moorhouse University's Art Exchange
demonstrates his skills. looks at art and the Olympics.
