Sasol Lake Charles Chemical Project, Lake Charles, LA, 11/14 to 11/15
EPCM services to design and build a Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) Unit with a capacity of 420 KTPA as part
of a wider new Chemicals Complex by Sasol Chemicals (USA) LCC in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The LDPE process
is based on ExxonMobil License high pressure tubular reactor technology.
Reviewed SmartPlant P&ID's and reports. Assisted Flowsheet Lead on correspondence with SPPID issues from
Mumbai. Maintained Process System Numbers (PSNs) and Line List. Attended Internal Model Review, Technical
Review and Change Log meetings. Reviewed Process Data Sheets for equipment and instruments. Checked
hydraulic calculations. Generated Management of Change requests. Coordinated with other disciplines to resolve
Model Review and HAZOP comments. Assisted Business Excellence partner with DP/DT and Technical Audit.
Flint Hills Resources, Ethane Feed Flexibility Project and Demethanizer Tower Replacement Project, Port
Arthur, TX, 03/14 to 11/14
Detail Engineering and Procurement for revamp work on Flint Hills Ethylene Plant in Port Arthur, Texas. Scope of
work includes maximizing the ethane feed cracking with shale natural gas technology advancement and replacing
the Demethanizer Tower for cold embrittlement .
Reviewed equipment vendor data for technical completeness. Reviewed vendor data sheets and generated TBT for
Pressure Relief Valves. Checked Management of Change requests and Specialty Piping Item data sheets.
Reviewed Isometrics. Assisted WGL with deliverables planning and staffing. Assisted Business Excellence partner
with Technical Audit.
C3 Petrochemicals, LLC (Ascend), Propane Dehydrogenation Project, Alvin, TX, 11/13 to 03/14
Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) package for Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) based on UOP’s Oleflex
Technology. The PDH project is for two five hundred ten thousand metric ton per annum (2 x 510 kMTA or
1020 kMTA) parallel reactor trains and one common feed preparation and fractionation train.
Developed SmartPlant P&IDs for the Reactor/Regeneration areas and the Fractionation areas, based on UOP
licensor P&IDs. Checked hydraulic calculations for licensor line sizing and equipment data sheets. Participated IFR
P&ID review.
Mosaic Fertilizer LLC, Project Patriot, St. James, LA, 11/12 to 11/13
Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of a 2200 metric tons/day Ammonia plant. The scope of the project
includes the Ammonia plant and all required utilities and off-sites facilities.
Developed and maintained PFDs, MSD's, P&IDs, Equipment List, Line List and Utility Summary for the utilities and
off-sites facilities portion of the project. Performed preliminary hydraulic calculations for line sizing and equipment
data sheets. Attended PFD review with Clients. Provided supports to other disciplines in the estimating effort.
Anadarko, Mozambique Field Development, 10/12 to 11/12
Pre-FEED of an onshore LNG Facility for liquefying and exporting LNG. The LNG Facility will be totally self-
sustaining, grass roots construction at a remote coastal location. It will be designed to receive, pre- treat and liquefy
lean offshore gas sufficient to produce LNG in multiple trains, each with a nominal capacity of 5 MTPA. The first
phase of the Project will be for two LNG liquefaction trains and space provided for a third train. Ultimately, 10 trains
could be built on the site.
Analyzed the climate data of four nearby locations and proposed the ambient temperatures to use for the project.
Presented the analysis of the climate data to Clients. Developed a report summarizing the analysis of the climate
data.
ExxonMobil Chemical Company, Project Elite Grassroots Addition EPC, Baytown, TX, 09/11 to 10/12
Detail Design for grassroots synthetic lubricants unit at the ExxonMobil Baytown Chemical Plant.
Developed and maintained P&IDs. Performed process data confirmation on Mechanical Equipment Data sheets to
support the requisition efforts. Performed preliminary hydraulic calculations to set equipment elevations. Attended
Technical reviews with Clients. Provided supports to other disciplines in the detailed design effort.
Lone Star NGL, LLC., Mont Belvieu Y-Grade Fractionation Plant, 06/11 to 09/11
Detail Design for grassroots Fractionation Plant. The scope of the project was to fractionate 100,000 BPSD of
natural gas liquid into 5 liquid products: Ethane, Propane, Iso-Butane, N-Butane and natural gasoline.
Lead Process Engineer for P&IDs. Developed SmartPlant P&IDs and Process Equipment Data sheets to support
the IFR+ milestone. Performed preliminary hydraulic calculations for line sizing. Attended Technical P&ID reviews
with Clients. Provided supports to other disciplines in the detailed design effort.
Williams Energy Canada Inc., Ft. Redwater Alberta Canada Project, 04/10 to 06/11
Engineering Design Specification Package (EDS) for the Selection and Defining Engineering Phases (FEL 2 and 3)
of an expansion project of an existing natural gas liquids (NGLs) fraction, purification and recovery plant. This
project added a De-ethanizer column and supporting systems to the existing fractionation facility increasing plant
capacity from 15,000 BBl/Day, based on a C3+ feed, to 25,000 BBL/Day based on a C2+ feed. The De-ethanizer
addition adds a 10,000 BBL/Day high purity mixed ethane and ethylene product stream to the facility. Critical
elements of the work included: the De-ethanizer Fraction equipment, a heat integrated refrigeration system to
condense and boil the De-ethanizer Column, feed and product moles sieve dehydration systems, treatment
systems for removal of COS and H2S from the mixed ethane/ethylene product stream, feed and off-spec storage in
brine caverns.
Developed and maintained P&IDs, ISBL Line List, Process Equipment Data sheets and Instrument Data sheets to
support the development of a Class III (20%) cost estimate. Performed detailed hydraulic analyses for critical
systems. Attended P&ID reviews with Clients. Provided supports to other disciplines in the Estimating effort.
PDVSA Mariscal Sucre Field Development Project, 08/09 to 12/09
Front-End Engineering; Offshore gas processing complex, 0.7 BSCFD. Grass-roots offshore platform for
processing of production stream from subsea wells in two neighboring fields, consisting of gathering and pigging
facilities, phase separation, produced water treatment, and all associated utilities and auxiliaries.
Developed and maintained Process Data Sheets. Performed utility requirement calculations and various hydraulic
calculations. Reviewed Platform P&IDs, Client's and HAZOP comments. Implemented changes on PFDs, P&IDs
and MSD's. Provided supports to other disciplines in implementing the changes. Updated Chemical and Utility
Consumption Summary. Reviewed Emission Summary and Open Drain system.
BHP Billiton Angostura Gas Project, 02/09 to 08/09
Reviewed Gas Export Platform P&IDs and HAZOP comments. Implemented changes on P&IDs and created
corresponding MOC's. Performed various hydraulic calculations. Assisted in consistency check of Piping
Isometrics. Reviewed various Vendor packages and provided supports to other disciplines in implementing the
changes. Checked line list for Construction Issue.
ConocoPhillips Trainer Aromatics Extraction Unit Project, 10/08 to 02/09
Reviewed Licensor (GTC) Design Packages. Generated PFDs and ISBL Equipment List. Developed P&IDs for
FEL-2 and FEL-3 packages. Participated in in-house P&IDs review with Clients and Licensor. Generated and
maintained various equipment data sheets. Provided engineering support to Piping and Mechanical group in
modeling and design. Performed preliminary pump sizing calculations and various studies. Created and maintained

Lead the Baytown NOx NSR CD Compliance Project
Developed the PFDs and P&IDs for the FEED package. Participated in ISHER, TORA and model review meetings.
Assisted Project Management in creating the Basis of Design. Coordinated with other disciplines in generating
various data sheets. Provided engineering support to Civil/Structure and Piping for the design of the SCR ducting
and the COB bypass quench system. Performed various hydraulic calculations. Created and maintained Line List

Redwater Alberta Canada Project, 04/10 to 06/11 Engineering Design Specification Package (EDS) for the Selection and Defining Engineering Phases (FEL 2 and 3) of an expansion project of an existing natural gas liquids (NGLs) fraction, purification and recovery plant. This project added a De-ethanizer column and supporting systems to the existing fractionation facility increasing plant capacity from 15,000 BBl/Day, based on a C3+ feed, to 25,000 BBL/Day based on a C2+ feed. The De-ethanizer addition adds a 10,000 BBL/Day high purity mixed ethane and ethylene product stream to the facility.
