1. SHIPPING AND RECEIVING PROCEDURES FOR COASTAL
LOGISTICS GROUP
This letter is intended to update and inform all carriers of the shipping and receiving
procedures for Coastal Logistics Group Garden City/Port Wentworth GA. The following
rules apply to all carriers having deliveries to or pickups from CLG.
All pickups and deliveries are by appointment only.
Appointments can be made by contacting us by phone at 912-964-0707, fax at 912-
964-0808, or via e-mail at appointments@clg-inc.com. For deliveries to 50 Sonny
Perdue Drive direct your correspondence to Marissa Foster EXT 4867. For
Deliveries to 405 Expansion BLVD direct your correspondence to Dianna Insalaco
EXT 4850.
Carriers making appointments must provide the following information:
CARRIER NAME:
TRUCK #, TRAILER#, AND BOL # (PICK UP # FOR OUTBOUND SHIPPMENTS)
FREIGHT DESCRIPTION (IF OVERSIZED, GIVE DIMS & WEIGHT)
All appointments must be made and confirmed by 1600 on the day prior to delivery. No
appointments made after 1600 on the day prior to delivery will be accepted for the
following day’s deliveries or pickups.
All drivers should schedule their arrival time at CLG to be 1 hour prior to and no later
than 1 hour after their scheduled appointment time.
Carriers arriving more than 1 hour past their scheduled appointment time must
contact CLG by phone to notify us that they will be tardy. Any carrier failing to
contact CLG and notify us of their tardiness will be considered as a non arrival and
worked at our convenience without the payment of detention.
All carriers arriving at CLG without scheduled appointments will be worked at our
convenience without the payment of detention charges.
If the schedule doesn’t allow for the carrier to be worked in, they will be required to
schedule an appointment for the following day.
ALL CARRIERS MUST PARK IN DESIGNATED AREAS AND CHECK IN WITH
SHIPPING AND RECEIVING UPON ARRIVAL

FRIDAY: 0800- 1500

line and appointments will not be scheduled or changed via this contact.
DIRECTIONS TO CLG PORTWENTWORTH/GARDEN CITY GA
LOCATIONS:
Below are the most direct and best routes to our locations.
405 EXPANSION BLVD:
I95 to exit 106. If traveling north, turn right at the end of the ramp/if traveling
south; turn left at the end of the ramp. Pass through the first traffic light,
take the 2nd left (street is not marked with a street sign), then the 1st right
(expansion blvd). CLG is immediately on the left.
50 SONNY PERDUE DRIVE
I95 to exit 102. If traveling north, turn right at the end of the ramp; if
traveling south, turn left at the end of the ramp onto US80. After turning off
of the interstate exit ramps, you will pass through the next 2 traffic lights. At
the 3rd traffic light (GA307 Dean Forrest RD & US80) you will turn left onto
GA307 Dean Forrest RD. After turning left, you will pass through the next
traffic light (Old Louisville RD) and take the next right onto Sonny Perdue
drive (Centerpoint Industrial sign on corner). CLG is the last warehouse on
the right.
I16 west to the GA307 Dean Forrest Rd exit. Turn left at the end of the exit
ramp. After passing through the traffic lights immediately adjacent to the
interstate, you will pass through the next 2 lights (GA307 & US80, then Old
Louisville Rd). After passing through the 2nd light at Old Louisville Rd, take
the next right onto Sonny Perdue drive (Centerpoint Industrial sign on
corner). CLG is the last warehouse on the right.
