What is Broadcast Advertising ?
 Broadcast advertising is the advertising of services or
products that uses out-of-home mediums to reach broad
audiences.
 First official paid television advertisement came out in the
United States on July 1,1941 at 2:30 p.m.
Introduction
 Generally speaking, Broadcast advertising is
Radio, Television and Internet advertising.
 The commercials aired on Radio & Television
are an essential part of broadcast advertising.
 Advertisements assist consumers in becoming acquainted with
the product and the brand as a whole.
 Most advertisements do not create an instant purchase
decision but leave an impression in the consumer’s mind
about the product.
 This impact helps the consumer make better purchase
decisions in the future.
