Rybnik Poland
6. 5. What are the strongest and the weakest fields of
employment in your region?
7. Conclusions
1. When it comes to percentage value of the working age people, Rybnik is standing out from average in my
country.
2. The rate of employment is much bigger in my area than the one in Poland as a whole.
3. In both cases there are more men and adults working.
4. Don’t invest in financial/insurance activities, transport market or wholesale and retail trade. Instead, draw your
attention to education, healthcare, real estate market, information and communication activities and
professional, scientific or technical services.
5. Want to work in Rybnik? Develop a small business or a medium-sized enterprise. You may also find yourself
useful as a specialist in one of the branches such as medicine or construction. Energy and mining industry would
also be a good idea but you have to keep in mind that you will earn less money in comparison to other
European Union countries.
