Above is a hyperlink to the survey questionnaire and results, the results
are helpful. There is a variety of answers, especially for types and genres
of music, this means that my magazine needs to be a multi genre (music)
magazine, there is a more or less even split between gender, this allows
me to make a unisex magazine. Most people that answered said that they
buy/subscribe to the magazines they are interested in monthly, due to
these results I will make my magazine a glossy magazine.

3. Interview
I interviewed George Goodwill from Malton,
Yorkshire, he is aged 17, he doesn't really read
magazines however occasionally picks one up, he is
very concerned with fashion. This is helpful to me as I
know that the people in my magazine need to be
fashionable, and be of a familiar fashion to people like
George, if they aren't it is likely my target audience will
not be interested in the magazine.

Bailey: questionnaire interview with Bradley Mollon, hiya Brad
Brad: Hiya
Bailey: So Brad we’ll get straight into it, how old are you?
Brad: I’m 17
Bailey: What’s your favourite type of shop? Do you have a favourite shop?
Brad: Well normally I prefer sport shops, that support runners or skating, however online it would have to be m&m direct.
Bailey: OK, do you have any preferred brands?
Brad: Err, I’d say most probably Nike.
Bailey: Do you like any sports,? Support any teams?
Brad: Yeah Man United, Man United Football Club.
Bailey: I’m liking it, not doing to well this season though are –
Brad: No don’t get me started
Bailey: *Laughs* Anyways could you do your best to describe to me your usual weekend routine?
Brad: Well mainly college work, however if I get time I occasionally try and get out to places.
Bailey: Where do you live?
Brad: The beautiful town that is Scarborough
Bailey: Where's your place of education?
Brad: York College in York.
Bailey: Do you like reading, any favourites?
Brad: Don’t really have a favourite book as much, I like then enemy series by Charlie Higson, and I enjoy the occasional comic, preferably Transformers however I've
read batman, like The killing joke and also the death of superman story line .
Bailey: Ok I’m a massive Batman fan myself, anyway *Laughs*, do you have a console? Xbox 360 or One, PS3 or 4?
Brad: I have an Xbox One and an Xbox 360.
Bailey: Ok then the ultimate question, who is your favourite superhero?
Brad: Am I allowed to say a transformer?
Bailey: No a proper one
Brad: Well I like Batman, but I absolutely admire Wolverine I want his powers so much.
Bailey: Do you like going to festivals?
Brad: I haven't really been to one, I don’t know.
Bailey: Fair enough, do you own a music player?
Brad: Yeah I have an iPod shuffle and an iPhone 4s.
Bailey: Do you like reading magazines?
Brad: I’ll scan through one from time to time.
Bailey: Ok Brad that is it you’ve been of great help, Thank You.

5. Readers Profile
Brad is a 17 year old male, who was born in Scarborough and has lived there ever since. He is
a big fan of music his favourite artist is Eminem, his favourite song is love the way you lie,
the song which Rihanna collaborates with Eminem, ask brad lyrics to an Eminem song he
will burst into tune, telling you it word by word. Brad doesn’t really have a social life, and
has a lot of college work, so much so that it takes up his weekend, he occasionally gets to go
to nearby places like the town centres of York Scarborough and Malton. Brad has never been
to a gig or festival, however if his close friends went to a festival and Eminem was there he’d
be there in a flash.
Brad loves to have up to date technology, he owns an IPhone 4s and the iPod touch 5th
generation, he also owns not just an xbxo360 but an Xbox one as well and loves to spend the
rare free time he gets chilling out playing FIFA, or other new games.
As mentioned Brad only has a few friends that are close to him he’d rather less friends over
popularity, he doesn’t have a girlfriend, however he gets shy around girls so he doesn't mind.
