Training Cycle
TNA Simply is a Gap Analysis Between those specific
competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) needed to achieve
the desired performance expectations and the assessment of
individuals against them.

dependent on the context of the organization and requirements of

start with an internal
Scoping Study to provide
an detailed list of the
changes that have occurred
in the organization that
warrant a review of training.
From the scoping study, an
Operational Task Statement
is produced which forms the
basis of the Training Needs
Analysis.
Interviews with managers
and staff , together with a
breakdown of any prior
training will help to identify
any gaps in training that
need to be addressed.
Step Two
What options do you have
for delivering the key ?
What competencies
identified in the previous
reports?

The final TNA report will be
a culmination of all the work
conducted in the previous
stages, and should allow a

TNA | How We Do It The Steps Step one The whole process must start with an internal Scoping Study to provide an detailed list of the changes that have occurred in the organization that warrant a review of training. From the scoping study, an Operational Task Statement is produced which forms the basis of the Training Needs Analysis. Interviews with managers and staff , together with a breakdown of any prior training will help to identify any gaps in training that need to be addressed. Step Two What options do you have for delivering the key ? What competencies identified in the previous reports? Simply All of the options will be considered and analyzed and be presented in the report. Step Three The final TNA report will be a culmination of all the work conducted in the previous stages, and should allow a balanced report to be submitted to senior management within your organization to allow decisions about any training requirements to be made. This report will come with a recommended implementation plan based on all the facts.
