 Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company headquartered
in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer
electronics, computer software, and online services. It is considered one of the Big
Four tech companies along with Amazon, Google, and Facebook.[6][7]
 The company's hardware products include the iPhone smartphone, the iPad tablet
computer, the Mac personal computer, the iPod portable media player, the Apple
Watch smartwatch, the Apple TV digital media player, the AirPods wireless earbuds
and the HomePod smart speaker. Apple's software includes
the macOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS operating systems, the iTunes media
player, the Safari web browser, and the iLifeand iWork creativity and productivity
suites, as well as professional applications like Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Xcode. Its

4. 1976–1984: Founding and incorporation
 Apple Computer Company was founded on April 1, 1976, by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak,
and Ronald Wayne.[16] The company's first product is the Apple I, a computer designed
and hand-built entirely by Wozniak,[ and first shown to the public at the Homebrew
Computer Club.[19][20] Apple I was sold as a motherboard (with CPU, RAM, and basic
textual-video chips)—a base kit concept which would now not be marketed as a
complete personal computer.The Apple I went on sale in July 1976 and was market-
priced at $666.66 ($2,935 in 2018 dollars, adjusted for inflation).

5. Introduction to Mac
• The MacBook is a brand of Macintosh laptop computers by Apple Inc. that merged
the PowerBook and iBook lines during Apple's transition to Intel processors. The current
lineup consists of the MacBook Air (2008–present) and the MacBook Pro (2006–present).
A different MacBook line existed from 2006 to 2012 and 2015 to 2019.
• The MacBook family were initially housed in designs similar to the iBook and PowerBook
lines which preceded them, now making use of a unibody aluminum construction first
introduced with the MacBook Air. This new construction also has a black plastic keyboard
that was first used on the MacBook Air, which itself was inspired by the sunken keyboard
of the original polycarbonate MacBooks. The now standardized keyboard brings
congruity to the MacBook line, with black keys on a metallic aluminum body.
• The MacBook was discontinued from February 2012 until March 2015, when a new
model featuring an ultraportable design and an all-metal enclosure was introduced. It
was again discontinued on July 2019 following a price reduction of the 3rd generation
MacBook Air and discontinuation of the 2nd generation model.

• The MacBook Air is Apple's least expensive notebook computer. While the 1st generation
was released as a premium ultraportable positioned above the 2006 - 2012 MacBook,
lowered prices on subsequent iterations and the discontinuation of that MacBook has
made it serve as the entry-level Macintosh portable. The 2010 to 2017 base model came
with a 13-inch screen, and was Apple's thinnest notebook computer until the introduction
of the MacBook in March 2015. This MacBook Air model features two USB Type-A 3.0 ports
and a Thunderbolt 2 port, as well as an SDXC card slot (only on the 13inch model). This
model of MacBook Air did not have a Retina Display. A MacBook Air model with an 11-inch
screen was available from October 2010 to October 2016. In 2017, the MacBook Air
received a small refresh, with the processor speed increased to 1.8 GHz.
• On October 30, 2018, the MacBook Air underwent a major design change, dropping the

generation) remains in production.[3]
 Like other digital music players, some versions of the iPod can serve as

have essentially the same media player capabilities as the iPod line, they are

• The user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The
iPhone has Wi-Fi and can connect to cellular networks. An iPhone can take photos, play music, send and
receive email, browse the web, send and receive text messages, record notes, perform mathematical
calculations, and receive visual voicemail. Shooting video also became a standard feature with
the iPhone 3GS. Other functionality, such as video games, reference works, and social networking, can
be enabled by downloading mobile apps. As of January 2017, Apple's App Storecontained more than

incorporates fitness tracking and health-oriented capabilities with integration with iOS and
other Apple products and services.
◦ Apple Watch relies on a wireless connection to an iPhone to perform many of its default
functions such as calling and texting. However, Wi-Fi chips in all Apple Watch models allow
the smartwatch to have limited connectivity features away from the phone anywhere a Wi-Fi
network is available. Series 3 LTE Apple Watches are able to be used without needing to be
consistently connected to an iPhone, though an iPhone is still required to set up the device.
First generation and Series 1 and 2 Apple Watches require an iPhone 5s or later with iOS 11;
the Series 3 and later LTE models require an iPhone 6 or later with iOS 11 or later.[14]

systems developed and marketed by Apple Inc. since 2001. It is the primary operating
for Apple's Mac family of computers. Within the market of desktop, laptop and home
computers, and by web usage, it is the second most widely used desktop OS,
Windows.[9][10]
 macOS is the second major series of Macintosh operating systems. The first is colloquially
called the "classic" Mac OS, which was introduced in 1984, and the final release of which
was Mac OS 9 in 1999. The first desktop version, Mac OS X 10.0, was released in March
with its first update, 10.1, arriving later that year. After this, Apple began naming its releases
after big cats, which lasted until OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Since OS X 10.9 Mavericks,
have been named after locations in California.[11] Apple shortened the name to "OS X" in
and then changed it to "macOS" in 2016, adopting the nomenclature that they were using
their other operating systems, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS. The latest version is macOS Mojave,
which was publicly released in September 2018.
 Between 1999 and 2009, Apple sold a separate series of operating systems called Mac OS X
Server. The initial version, Mac OS X Server 1.0, was released in 1999 with a user interface
similar to Mac OS 8.5. After this, new versions were introduced concurrently with the
version of Mac OS X. Beginning with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, the server functions were made
available as a separate package on the Mac App Store.[12]

ONLY KNOW HOW POOR JOB THEY DID AS SOON AS YOU USE IT).)
• BUILD QUALITY. THEY SELL PRODUCTS TO PREMIUM MARKET, SO, THEY ARE NOT THAT CARE ABOUT PRICE
BUT CARE ABOUT BUILD QUALITY A LOT, THEY USED GOOD MATERIAL AND CONVERT IT INTO
AFFORDABLE DECENT MACHINES(VERSUS SOME OTHER BRANDS WHO DO MAKE PERFECT PRICE BUT
CHARGE CUSTOMERS AN ARM AND LEG) APPLE CAN BE CONSIDERED AS A PREMIUM BRAND BUT THEIR
PRODUCTS WERE AT LEAST ACCESSIBLE.
• STRONG CAPABILITY TO CONTROL THE WHOLE SUPPLY CHAIN, THEY CAN SET RULES INSTEAD OF ONLY
