combination of your
main product and
ancillary texts?

2. My A2 project is made up of three separate
tasks. These three tasks are my music video, my
music magazine advertisement and my CD digi
pack. I created these products on various
different software.
Throughout the process all three tasks were
created by me, and I had chose an unheard of
artist with a chosen song.

3. My music video is made up of nature, home clips
and clips of my artist lip syncing. I wanted to
create a sentimental effect and by filming home
clips and nature clips I think this allows the
audience to connect more with the artist.

4. My original music video was supposed to consist
of a young man living in a busy city center, and
throughout the music video the audience would
follow his journey home and how he reflects on
life back home. Due to timing issues and
transport costs I could not film in the busy city of
London like I originally planned, and I replaced
this with filming at a reservoir and him reflecting
on his home from there.

5. The link between my music video, my music magazine
advertisement and my CD digi pack are of the same theme
throughout. My digi pack is plain and simple and of a modern
style, I think this reflects the artist as my chosen artist is both
stylish and modern. My music advertisement is also not over
crowded, as it is just a simple picture of who I have cast. I have
then filled the space around the photo with information that needs
to be given. My music video is also simple as most of the clips
are of nature, the footage I have collected are soothing and
calming. The images which I have included in my digi pack also
link to the music advertisement and the music video itself. I have
featured a guitar which is played by Tyler who I have casted. The
guitar features not only in the video but also in the music
advertisement and the cd digi pack on the front. I have also used
an image on the digi pack of a key whole. This would be where
the disc tray would sit, I felt this worked quite nicely as the key
whole is round so the disc will sit nicely on top filling the circle. I
also used it as it can also link to the theme of a home and the

6. I have also made sure that all three products I
am working on consist of the same fonts. By
using the same font within the music video,
music magazine advertisement and digi pack all
the text will intertwine with each other, and the
audience will be able to tell and establish the
chosen artist due to the continuous theme
through the text.

7. I have also made sure I have used the same props
used. The props which were used were the guitar,
and the sun glasses. Throughout all three products
these were used.
The effects I used were also featured in all three
tasks. Within the music magazine advertisement I
decided to use the filter effects, I then chose the
effect of grain which made the photograph seem
more old fashioned and faded. When it came to
making my digi pack I then again added this effect on
this as well to show the continuous theme. In my digi
pack I also used the effect of black and white which
was also featured in my music video.
