• You have a LOT of spatial data
• Standards compliance is important
• Open source is important
• Your data governance house is in order (GN will not
‘fix’ your data discovery and delivery if it is broken)
AND, you need specific roles MAINTAINED to make it
work:
• Java developer (initially and for improvements)
• GN manager
• In-house metadata guru
• Data governance workflows that are implemented
