The average for 2022 based on 41 countries was 50
points. The highest value was in BAHRAIN :85 points and
the lowest value in north Korea :0 points.

The average for 2022 based on 41 countries was 73
points. The highest value in Luxembourg :95 points and the
lowest value was in Belarus :30 points.

INVESTMENT FREEDOM MAIN OBJECTIVE
■ The freedom of investment process ,an
intergovernmental forum hosted 2006 by the OCED
investment committee, brings together some 54
governments from around the world to exchange
information and experiences on investment policies at.
■ Here ,governments develop guidance for open
,transparent and non –discriminatory investment
policies. Unbiased policy monitoring and analysis support
accountability and frank and open exchange.

The average for 2022 based on 51 countries was 40
points. The highest value was in Botswana : 70 points
and the lowest value in Zimbabwe :10 points.

The average for 2022 based on 11 countries was 49
points. The highest value Singapore : 80 points and the
lowest value was Burma : 20 points.
Freedom from corruption
■ CORRUPTION:
Corruption is an insidious plague that has a wide range
of corrosive effects on societies. It undermines democracy
and the rule of law, leads to violations of human rights,
distorts markets, erodes the quality of life and allows
organized crime, terrorism and other threats to human
security to flourish. This evil phenomenon is found in all
countries.
Official corruption
Official corruption is typically .understood as a means by
which established human rights are violated, but not as a
direct violation. Freedom from official corruption is not
enshrined as a universal and inalienable right to which a
person isinherently entitled.
Freedom of corruption Index
Definition: The score for the Freedom of corruption index is
derived primarily from Transparency International’s
Corruption Perceptions Index. For countries that are not
covered in the CPI the freedom from corruption score is
determined by using information from internationally
recognized and reliable sources. Higher index values denote
lower level of corruption.
OECD countries
Freedom from corruption index (0-100) in OECD: The average
for 2022 based on 37 countries was 74 points.The highest
value was in Denmark: 100 points and the lowest value was
in Mexico: 32 points. The indicator is available from 1995 to
2022. Below is a chart for all countries where data are
available.

Freedom from corruption index (0-100) in Asia: The average
for 2022 based on 41 countries was 43 points.The highest
value was in Singapore: 93 points and the lowest value was in
North Korea: 4 points. The indicator is available from 1995 to

It undermines democracy and the rule of law, leads to violations of human rights, distorts markets, erodes the quality of life and allows organized crime, terrorism and other threats to human security to flourish.
