Trinity College of Engineering in Trivandrum is hosting an Embedded System Workshop and Contest for students of first and second year engineering. The workshop will cover topics related to embedded systems and microcontrollers, with prizes awarded to winning projects. Recent events at the college included talks on hydroelectric power plants and changes in mobile technology presented by students as part of the ISTE student chapter. Lab exams were also recently held for communication systems and microwave engineering labs. An upcoming schedule was provided for various KTU lab exams. Details were given on the progress of the electronics engineering workshop covering 8 of the planned 10 experiments.

M at Rosss 2016 comedy ^dram a is about a survivalist
father devoted in raising his six children in an extremely
tough environment, inside a deep forest, isolated from the
outside world. Ben C ash (Viggo Mortensen) and his wife
Leslie, together decided not to bring up their children in
a capitalist Am erican Society and went to the woods to
follow a naturalistic life style. Six year old kid reading
Noam Chomsky, defining Fascism without any flaws,
kids who are very handy with knifes, with good hunting
skills, they want their children to be Kings of Philosophy .The movie begins with Ben looking after the 6 kids,
after Leslie being hospitalized with B ipolar Disorder. The kids and Ben sink to despair when they cam e to know
that Leslie committed suicide at the hospital. C aptain Fantastic changes to a road movie, with Ben and kids hits
the road to retrieve Leslie s body to give her a proper Buddhist cremation. Ben and the children find it difficult
to cope up with the society once they had abandoned. The movie then moves through some hilarious plots with
rather an em otional climax. V iggo Mortensen in the role of Ben as the Father was excellent. C aptain Fantastic
has everything to becom e a cult hit, with Chomsky s quotes here and there, and a quite doubtful node at Marx^
ism somewhere in between. C aptain Fantastic amuses every one, or rather inspires everyone who wants to live a
life outside the consumerist conformal society.That may be the reason why I already w atched the movie at least
four times during the last few weeks. My rating 4 /5 .
