This document discusses self-confidence and its importance. It defines self-confidence as having a belief in one's own abilities. There are three types of self-confidence: low self-confidence where one avoids risks, optimal self-confidence where one acts with confidence despite criticism, and overconfidence which involves an inflated ego. The document provides tips for building self-confidence such as believing in oneself, gaining knowledge, overcoming fears, being positive, learning from past failures, avoiding comparisons, and envisioning oneself with high self-confidence. Having self-confidence provides advantages like greater well-being, success, and fulfilling interactions with others.
2. WHAT IS SELF CONFIDENCE?
ï±Having belief about yourself and your abilities. In order to achieve our vision, we
need âwisdomâ (holistic intelligence with experience) and âDetermination and
Enthusiasmâ For that we need âSelf Confidenceâ
ï±Self Confidence means âTrust to ourselves with full of inner strength.
ï±These are our means and tools to make our dream or purpose come true.
3. TYPES OF SELF CONFIDENCE
ï±Low Self Confidence
ï±Optimal Self Confidence
ï± Over Confidence
4. LOW SELF CONFIDENCE
ïŒ Staying in our comfort zone, fearing failure
and so avoid taking risks. Some Points
are,
ï± âI canât find happiness.â This is the paradox
that confuses even the smartest people.
You need to learn how to set yourself up so
that success and happiness find you
ï± âLife has nothing more to offer me.â This
statement is another mistake that people
make. It is a mistake because the
statement is inside-out, in reverse. Instead
it should read: âWhat do I have to offer
life?â
5. OPTIMAL SELF CONFIDENCE
ï± Doing what you believe to be right, even if
others mock or criticize you for it.
ï± Make Decisions with Absolute Confidence.
ï± At Optimal Self-Trust youâll learn how to:
Release self-doubt and replace it with self-
confidence
ï± Make crisis-time decisions with swift and
total clarity.
ï± Stop beating yourself up about past
choices.
ï± Listen to what you want instead of needing
others approval.
6. OVER CONFIDENCE
ï±Often we come across people who are over
confident i.e. egotistic and stubborn.
Generally these people have the so called
âSuperiority Complexâ
ï±A condition of over-approximating one's
capacity to perform or under-
approximating the capacity of an opponent
to perform.
ï±An unsupported belief or unrealistically
good presumption that a favoured result
will arise.
ï±Overconfidence is generally not an
attractive trait in anyone.
7. WAYS TO BUILD SELF CONFIDENCE
âą Believe in your abilities.
ïŒ Always trust in your own abilities.
Even when you think you canât
âŠâŠbecause YOU CAN.
ïŒBelieve in yourself. If you donât
believe in yourself, how can you
expect others to believe in you.
8. GAIN KNOWLEDGE
ïŒOne can gain
knowledge without
having experience. But
one can not gain
experience without also
acquiring knowledge.
9. OVERCOME YOUR FEARS.
ïŒMaster it, or build a partnership
with someone else who is not
fazed by that fear.

10. BE POSITIVE
ïŒStop repeating negative
thoughts to yourself and
replace them with positive
ones
ïŒYou canât live a positive life
with a negative mind
11. EXAMINE YOUR PAST FAILURES
ïŒDonât punish the present self for
the past mistakes, go beyond
them
ïŒWe all fail, but not all get up. It
happened a long time ago, MOVE
ON!
ïŒLook at the past to gain
experience to overcome future
problems.
ïŒOur past and history has given us
experience so we know how to
respond.
12. Stop comparisons
âą My neighbour is better than me in
this. You are better than him in
many other ways
âą So what? Everyone has their own
share of problems, focus on your
own
âą No one can lead your life, stop
trying to compare them to you,
they are not even close
âą Your life, your rules â No one has
a say in that!
14. WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?
â Letâs start with one thing at a time!
âąWhat is the one thing you think youÂ
cannot do?
âąAgain, not a list, just that one littleÂ
thing which is most important to you
âąWhy do you think you cannot do it?Â
â Resources/Talent/Expertise?
The first step is in acceptance and if
you ask me, you have already
started
15. WHAT DOES ACHIEVING THIS MEAN TO YOU?
âą Does this mean that you canÂ
achieve your goals better?
âą Does it mean that you can solveÂ
bigger problems?
âą Does it mean that you are capableÂ
and successful?
We are talking about just the what,
we will get to the why soon.
16. WHY ARE YOU AFRAID OF IT? WHAT ARE YOUR REASONS?
âą I have tried it before and it has notÂ
worked
âą I have seen more intelligentÂ
people try and fail
âą I donât have it in me, I am notÂ
capable enough
Be honest, not to me but for
yourself, why do you think you
cannot do it?
17. Advantages of having Self Confidence
ï±Greater self worth.
ï±More happiness and enjoyment.
ï±Freedom from self doubt.
ï±Greater strength and capabilities.
ï±Freedom from fear and anxiety.
18. ContâŠ
ï±Â Freedom from social anxiety.
ï± More peace of mind and less stress.
ï± More energy and motivation to act.
ï± Greater success
ï± More beneficial and enjoyable interactions with
others.
19. Imagine you were completely self
confident
âąHow does that make you feel
âąWhat is the image you have about
yourself with this much confidence?
âąHow would you approach the
problems if you were confident?
Donât focus on what you are afraid
of, focus on what you want.
20. SOâŠ.
You canât go back and
change the beginning,
but you can start
where you are and
change the ending.
