How to ASK AWAY   on AskArchivists Day!
Get a Twitter-account First, you have to have a Twitter-account. If you don´t have one, all you have to do is go to http://www.twitter.com  and sign  up. It´s easy and it´s free!
Check out the archives Go to  http://askarchivists.wordpress.com   and check out the archives and their topics. Some archives have ”preferred questions” others welcome all types.
Ask a specific archive Tweet the archive you want to ask, using the @ sign. For instance, if you have a question for  The National Archives in the United Kingdom: @UkNatArchives - How old is Domesday Book #AskArchivists Remember to use the #AskArchivists tag. That way everyone following the event will see your question and the answer!
Ask any archive You can also ask a question to all participants. Just type your question, and use the #AskArchivist tag. For instance: Does any archive have records, more that 500 years old #AskArchivists All archives following the tag will see your question, and hopefully someone will answer quickly.
What language to use? If you and the archive are OK with it, it´s a good idea to use English. That way more people will understand  both question and answer. But it is of couse also just fine to use any language, that you and the archive are comfortable with.
