University of British Columbia- EduCloud.
● Members use SFTP client to make digital
material accessible to Archivematica
installation
4. COPPUL: Governance
● Available to consortium members
● Gold, Silver and Bronze levels
● First year participating members:
o 2 Gold (University of Saskatchewan Library; University
of Victoria Library)
o 1 Silver (Vancouver Island University Library)
o 3 Bronze (MacEwan University Library; Mt Royal
University Library; University of Lethbridge Library).
5. ArchivesDirect: Infrastructure
● Service offered by not-for-profit org
DuraSpace.
● Hosts Archivematica instances in DuraCloud
o Amazon S3 and Glacier
● DuraCloud Sync Tool
6. ArchivesDirect: Governance
● Available to any subscriber
● AIPs produced and stored are system-
agnostic- can be removed and stored
elsewhere at any time
7. ArchivesDirect: Pilot Project
● Three month pilot period
● Nine institutions participated in pilot:
o University of Washington; Pepperdine University; The
Huntington Library; University of Texas San Antonio;
North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources: State
Archives and State Library; Phillips Academy Andover;
Illinois Wesleyan University; Kansas State University

diverse formats: audiovisual, textual, geospatial, websites, presentations, images,

permission forms, accession records, pictures of digital media, etc.
