quantity of food
storage.
6. Seed Testing
Seed testing is determining the
standards of a seed, physical
purity, moisture, germination
and thereby enabling the
farming community to get quality
seeds.
7. A-Germination Test :
B-Viability test: A test for viability that involves
three steps:
1.preconditioning (imbibition)
2. preparation and staining
3. evaluation (examining the seed for a color
change in the embryo).
Types of tests

D-Weed Test:
8. Equipment Required for Seed
Testing Laboratory
The rule for testing seeds includes the type of equipment and its
specifications. The equipment for a seed testing laboratory,
therefore, should be selected accordingly. Only the best available
should be purchased. The following list of equipment may serve as
a guideline.

used to determine the moisture, fixed carbon in grain. It can also determine
moisture and fixed carbon , in accordance with chemical industry, commercial
inspection, scientific research, education, etc.
29. Seeds Drying Equipment for Sample Testing are used for a variety of applications
like drying or tempering electronic components, material tests, wax-melting ,high
temperature aging ,and sterilization in industrial, laboratories and scientific
research institutes.
