2. Question-1
• Q:-) We all aware about K.D.Jadhav who was the first Indian
from Independent India to win an individual medal at 1952
Olympics.But 4 years back in London Olympic,there was
another indian who hailed from Kharagpur won a silver for his
work ”Skating the Stag”(Sculpture competition) representing
Great Britain.It was his misfortune that IOC scrapped the art
competition from olympics onwards that's why his
achievement remain unrecognized.
• Who is this renowned Indian sculptor ?
4. Question-2
• Initially there were two manual scoreboards which consisted around 135
pulleys & were operated by 35 peoples but presently only one of them is
operational.It is the largest manually operated scoreboard in the
world.This Stadium is often called as "Billiards Table" for it's beautiful
outfield,another nickname attributed to the stadium is _______'s
turf,named after a British coach who was born in a Hospital situated just
opposite to this stadium.

• On 29th of January,2013 India was playing a friendly
match against Palestine.On 64th Minute,Leni Rodriguez
was substituted & Neelkanth Narendra Khambholja
took his place.By making his debut,he claimed a
unique feat,first ever to do so. This former East Bengal
midfielder did not have any Bright records in his name
but he took the toughest decision of his life in 2012
which became remarkable & as of Now it is the only
instance of Indian football.

• “We met at our coaching class & our friendship
blossomed into more.But there were one issue
that I'm from Haryana and he is from Hyderabad
and inter-community are quite rare in our
country which is why we had to hide our
relationship for the longest time of 10 years”

London Olympics though one could get the
success,other missed it by one shot.

• In the modern era,for crushing and grinding any ingredient mortar and
pestle is used,similiar to this Mizo community uses wooden version of
'Sum' & 'Suk',particularly for husking of Rice.
• To get some flight from their tireless works,young people involved
themselves into different Games.One such game is Insukherh where two
players hold the Suk(approx 8 ft long bamboo rod) & each of them tried to
outplay his opponent by forcing on the Suk.This particular game can be
called just opposite to another Sports where player tries to outplay their
opponent just performing the opposite activity,which Sports ?

• Born to A Punjabi family in Chennai this Sportsperson
had publicly expressed his displeasure after being
ignored for the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna
award thrice and he threatened to skip the 2010
Commonwealth Games due to lack of
motivation.However, intense pressure from his family
and fans, he later decided to participate the
competition & he gave an excellent performance there
winning 4 Gold medals which forced Indian Govt to
honour him with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award on the
same year.

particular sport offered him full use of their
coaches and training facilities if he
competed under the Italian flag, but he

indeed.

• Boxed set of Grand Slam titles include winning at least one of every
4 Major Grand Slam championship(Singles+Doubles+Mixed) that is
being played during open era.The achievement is no doubt
remarkable in the field of Tennis,no male player has even come
closer to this.Only 3 Women could achieve this prestigious
achievement,though few missed it closely.
• One such example of this unlucky Woman who missed it just by
one,French Open Singles title.Though she played final twice but
couldn't grab it & thus her dream to join this elite group remain
unfulfilled.You may be surprised why I'm asking such Non-Indian
question in today's quiz,but hold on please,She is very close to
Indian Tennis lover's heart as well.

first played in India at Kolkata in 1871.Later,India
played their first international match & they went on to
loose the game by 0-85 margin against Singapore.After
that India could not excel much in this sports,their
highest notable result came when They were very close
to qualify for World Cup in 2007 but they failed to
qualify that time.Vikas Khatri of Haryana is the present
