About webinar
Many small businesses believe that SEO isn’t worth the investment when SEO isn’t the main problem but their products or services are so complex it takes time for the target audience to convert into paying customers.
The audience in most cases requires nurturing, and because they don’t have the nurturing program in place, they lose potential customers online. What they should really invest into is Inbound Marketing.
During the webinar we will discuss how Inbound Marketing is different from SEO and how to know if SEO is the right marketing model for your business or not.
2. WHO AM I?
I am an Inbound Marketing Consultant working in the industry for more than
7 Years. From the last four years, I use to own a blog that we recently
converted into our official Inbound Marketing Agency’s website; it’s called
SEtalks.com.
I am also an active contributor on different digital marketing and small
business blogs like:
And more…
5. SEO
Search engine optimization is a methodology of strategies,
techniques and tactics used to increase the amount of visitors to
a website by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search
results page of a search engine (SERP) -- including Google, Bing,
Yahoo and other search engines.

7. Inbound Marketing
Inbound marketing is the promotion of a company or other
organization through blogs, podcasts, video, eBooks, newsletters,
whitepapers, SEO, physical products, social media marketing, and
other forms of content marketing which serve to attract customers
through the different stages of the purchase funnel.
10. As an SEO, your job is to acquire the most targeted
traffic back to the website.
11. As an Inbound guy, your job is to acquire the most
targeted traffic back to the website and later nurture
that traffic and convert them into leads and conversions
for the business.
18. Blog posts in SEO are mainly used to target long-tail
keywords as its easy to rank well in search engines and gain
low but targeted traffic back to the website.
In Inbound Marketing content creation process at every
stage is different and the main reason of creating a content
is to walk potential customer though the buyer’s journey.
19. Social Media:
Social media indirectly affect SEO positively and
Inbound Marketing is incomplete without social
media… so its same right?
20.
21. First, Social Media do not have a direct impact on SEO. There
is a study that says that high social share of content
correlate better rankings but that can be because of other
reasons and not social media directly.
In Inbound Marketing, Social Media works as a bridge
between potential customers, fans and a brand. The idea is
to resolve customer queries, problems and questions to
build a positive brand image within the audience.
22. Inbound Marketing is not the alternative name
to SEO…. Instead, SEO contributes to Inbound.
26. …but once the visitor is on the website, It’s Inbound
Marketing methodology that comes into play and
convert visitor’s into leads, customers and later
brand advocates.
