Administrative Director Critical Care Services
 Responsible for the overall operations of the critical care services to include, Intensive Care, Cardiac
Critical Care, Telemetry, Dialysis, Neuroscience Program and Heart Failure that encompasses 213
reports.
 Responsible for covering Emergency and Medical Surgical services in the absence of an administrator.
Also cover in the absence of my Chief Nursing Officer
 Responsible for market share growth through strategic planning. Involved in the overall budgeting,
planning and implementation of strategic and customer service initiatives.
 Develops, interprets and reviews facility wide policies and procedures along with leading through
several Joint Commission Surveys.
 Responsible for quality outcomes and customer satisfaction
 Responsible as the facility coordinator for the National Data Base for Nursing Indicators (NDNQI)

 In addition I was selected to serve as a Hospital Representative for an HCA Texas state table. I
facilitated the negotiation of two first collective bargaining agreements (CBA) for five HCA hospitals in
the state of Texas, helping to meet all management objectives. I also worked with the hospital’s Labor
Relations Director in training and preparing managers and supervisors in handling Weingarten Rights,
disciplinary investigations, grievances, and arbitrations for the new collective bargaining agreements for
2 bargaining units represented by SEIU and NNOC- Texas Locals. I also support all levels of
management on labor and employee relations matters. Currently served as the management chair for
SEIU and NNOC staffing committees.
Del Sol Medical Center July 20, 2008 – March 27, 2010
Director of Telemetry
 Responsible for the overall operation of a 44 bed unit with an ADC 39. Responsible for 75 direct
reports along with managing the operations, productivity along with future development and budgetary
projections for the service line.
 Ensure Telemetry services maintained a high degree for efficiency and safety in providing quality care
including, but not limited to quality improvement, staff competency, inventory control, cost
containment, patient satisfaction and physician satisfaction.
 Accomplished successful Joint Commission survey.
 Implemented shared governance and served on various committees such as falls team, patient safety,
education management and survey preparedness.
 Collaborated and coordinate the efforts Telemetry services staff accomplish the mission of Del Sol
Medical Center. Lead by example and held others accountable for adhering for adhering to the goals,
policies, and procedures of Del Sol Medical Center.
Del Sol Medical Center October 29, 2006 – July 19, 2008

 Prescribed, delegated and coordinated nursing care provided throughout 336 bed facility. Collaborate with
other members of the health care delivery team including physicians to deliver quality health care. Assisted
in providing effective distribution and utilization of nursing personnel on twenty four basis.
