Executive Summary
- - - -
The report is designed to propose a Social Project on providing education for people in
poor communities in Thailand. Throughout the research, we will analyse the problem
and seek for an opportunity to implement the idea of the social project, applying
different strategies, studying Critical Success Factors and SWOT, describing core
operations and making an action plan on how we can reduce poverty in Thailand by
offering quality education so each of these individual can break free from the circle of
poverty in their community. Various programs will be offered based on each individual's
personal interests and liking. Products and crafts made during the period of the
programs will then be sold in different events and markets in order to keep the school
up and running.
3
Opportunity
- - - -
The main problem is the amount of unemployed
and at many times uneducated people living in rural
areas around the country. There are some people
who are living together in a small house with little to
no space surrounding them. People who are
longing for a different lifestyle. A life where they feel
important, useful, happy and where they can earn
money in the future to break the cycle of poverty in
their hometown.
Approach
- - - -
By providing fun and educational programs and, where those who feel like they want to
change their current lifestyle to come and study with us, our organization will increase
the number of educated people and boost the employment rate in the village. We will
offer programs which fit each and every man and woman from ages 18 - up. Based on
their interests and passion, we will place them in a program which suits them the most
to let them pursue their passion and improve their skills for the career.
Framework
- - - -
We have been observing different issues within the country and we have seen so many
solutions being implemented in other countries to help homeless, uneducated or
unemployed people. However, there is an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty
through education. We do not wish to open another private high school or university in
Thailand, but we are giving an opportunity for people to get a valuable skills in different
fields of interest to be able to earn money for their families from poor society.
