• Stress is a natural and manageable part of life.
• We react physically, mentally and or emotionally to
various conditions, changes and demands of life.
• The stress we experience is rooted in the “fight or
flight” response.
• Constant demands of academic or personal life can
lead to stress overload.

• Stress is what you feel when you have to handle More than
you are used to. When you are stressed, your body response
as though you are in danger. It makes hormones that speed
up your heart, make you breathe faster, and give you a burst
of energy.
• Some stress is normal and even useful. Stress can help if you
need to work hard or react quickly.
EXAMPLE :- It can help you win race or finish an important
job on time.

for a long time,then our body is working overtime.
• There are several causes of stress. For example, you
are under stress when you are worried about
something,worried about your children, worried
about the illness of your father, worried about your
job security, or worried about your loans or similar
things.

MANAGEMENT
● ACUTE STRESS
Acute stress is usually for short time and may be due to work pressure,
meeting deadlines pressure or miner accident, over exertion, increased
physical activity, searching something but you misplaced it, or similar things.
Symptoms of this type of tensions are headache, back pain, stomach
problems, or body body pain.
●CHRONIC STRESS :-
This type of stress is the most serious of all the three types. Chronic
stress is a prolonged stress that exists for weeks,months,or even
years.this stress is due to poverty, broken or stressed families and
marriage, chronic illness and successive failure in life.people suffering
from this type of stres get used to it and may even not realize that they
are under chronic stress.it is very harmful to their health.
11. POSITIVE STRESS :-
Stress can also have a good positive effect, spurring motivation
and awareness, providing the stimulation to cope with challenging
situation.
Stress also provides the sense of urgency and alertness needed
for survival when confronting threatening situations.
NEGATIVE STRESS:-
It is a contributory factor in minor conditions, such as headache,
digestive problem, skin complaint and insomnia.
Excessive, prolonged and unrelieved stress can have a harmful
